A very warm welcome to the website of Homestay Bristol. We are a married couple based in the fabulous city of Bristol. We are both British and therefore English is our mother tongue. Michael has worked for many years in the Hotel Industry and also as an English language teacher. He speaks fluent French. Melanie is a professional cook and throughout your stay she will produce delicious gourmet dinners.

We welcome guests from all over the world whether you are here to study or simply for tourism you are welcome in one of our comfortable laid back homes.

We have 3 homes, one where we live and host less independent students and another for more independent students that wish to simply have a key and do their own thing.

Both our homes are well located and are a short distance from the city centre. Both are very close to bus stops and train stations.

We have 14 spare rooms’ twin rooms, double rooms and single rooms. No matter which house you stay in all your meals will be provided.  All houses have wireless internet as well as laundry facilities, satellite TV and more.

Many of our students study English at one of the language schools in Bristol but if the purpose of your visit is to learn English and you have not yet enrolled in a school we will help you get into a reputable school at a reduced price.

If you like to cycle we have mountain bikes to rent for less than the price of a bus ticket and we can also arrange excursions for you around the UK or throughout Europe.

So far we have hosted students from, France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Brazil, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Spain,  Argentina, Mexico, Czech Republic, Columbia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Italy,Macau and Ecuador .
